It wasn’t until later that they discovered many of those sarees were far from the real deal. Witnessing their frustration sparked an idea: why not bridge the gap between genuine craftsmanship and the modern saree lover?

That’s how Parampara was born, a mission-driven venture by a son and his close friends, inspired by our mothers’ love for sarees and determined to ensure no one else faces the same struggle. To make this dream a reality, we hit the road, literally. Traveling across India, from bustling bazaars to serene villages, meeting the artisans and craftspeople behind the most exquisite handlooms.
